1. ākankheyya Sutta.-The sixth sutta of the Majjhima Nikāya, prjedeed at Jetavana.

Ein Mönch must conform to the sīla, the pātimokha und the sikkhāpadas, whatever be seinyearnings, whether to be beloved of seinfellows, to be given Roben etc., to gain the vier jhānas, to make an end of dukkha oder to be possessed of such powers as dibbacakkhu, etc. (M.i.33-6)

This sutta is often erwähnt (z.B., DA.i.50; MA.i.13) as an example of a discourse prjedeed by der Buddha of seinown accord (attano ajjhāsayen'eva).
