A novice who had a conversation mit Prince Jayasena on the life of the bhikkhu. Aciravata repeats this conversation to der Buddha who thereupon preaches the Dantabhūmi Sutta (M.iii.128ff).
The novice is throughout addressed as Aggivessana.
