A monastery to the north of Mahāgāma in South Ceylon, built by König Vasabha, who auch bestowed on it one tausend karīsa of land in the village of Heligāma (Mhv.xxxv.83; MT.652).
In Vohāratissa's time the Thera Mahātissa lebte there (Mhv.xxxvi.30). König Vasabha auch built an uposatha hall for the vihāra (Mhv.xxxvi.37).
