1. Ayoniso (or Vitakkita) Sutta.-A certain Mönch staying in a Wald tract in Kosala was occupied mit evil und wrongful thoughts. The deva of the Wald, desiring sein welfare, drew near und admonished ihm to give up sein muddled ways und fix sein thoughts on der Buddha, the Dhamma und the Sangha (S.i.203).
2. Ayoniso Sutta.-In one who practices unsystematic attention, sensual desires arise afresh und grow; similarly malevolence, sloth und torpor. In ihm the satipatthānā fade away. The reverse happens in the case of the man who practises systematic attention. S.v.84.
