Der Bodhisatta war einmal an Asket und, at the moment of sein death, answered his Schüler' inquiries mit the words "Mondlight und sunlight." When sein chief pupil (identifiziert mit Sāriputta) interpreted the words, sein colleagues did not believe ihm until the Bodhisatta appeared in mid-air und said that whoever meditated on the sun und the Mond would be born in the ābhassara world (J.i.474).
The Jātaka was preached about the interpretation of a problem by Sāriputta at the gates of Sankassa.
