A dissertation delivered by the Buddha, outside the Migārāmātupāsāda, on a full-moon day. He tells of the twofold insight - the insight of dukkha und its cause, nirodha und the way thereto. He then proceeds to explain the origin of dukkha, from upadhi, avijjā, etc. (SN. p.139ff).
