An officer of Parakkamabāhu I., erwähnt in the account of his campaigns. He fought against Gokanna at Nīlagala. Later, he was in charge of the successful campaign in ālisāra, und then was stationed in Ambavana, where the König confided to him his plan to attack Pulatthinagara. In recognition of his services, Parakkamabāhu conferred on him the rank of Adhikāri (Cv.lxx. 83, 162, 170, 191, 278). The last mention made of him (Cv.lxxii.10) is of his being appointed to guard the ford at Samīrukkha und crushing there the army of Gajabāhu.
