An arahant. In der Zeit von Nārada Buddha, he built for the Buddha a hut of reeds near the Hārita mountain und thatched it mit grass.
Seventy four times he became König of the devas und seventy seven times König of men (Ap.i.178).
He is probably identical mit Valliya Thera (ThagA.i.247).
