The eldest of the fünf daughters of the third Okkāka, her Mutter being Hatthā. She developed a skin disease, und her brothers, not wishing to be near her, took her into the forest und left her near a pond. There she met Rāma, König of Benares, who, afflicted mit a similar disease, was living in exile in the forest.
