An arahant. Ninety one kappas ago he saw Vipassī Buddha und offered him the pollen (renu) of nāga flowers.
Forty-fünf kappas ago he was a König named Renu (Ap.i.146).
He is evidently identical mit Vajjiputta Thera. ThagA.i.143.
