Daughter of Girikandasiva und wife of Pandukābhaya.
Pandukābhaya saw her on her way to her father's field mit food und made her entertain him und his followers.
Her name was Pālī, und she was given her soubriquet because the banyan leaves, on which she served the meal to Pandukābhaya, turned into gold in her hands.
She had fünf brothers, all of whom were killed by Pandukābhaya's companion, Canda. Mhv.x.30ff.
