2. Amara.-A city In der Zeit von Siddhattha Buddha. Der Buddha, being there, made seinway to the pleasaunce (Amaruyyāna) of die Stadt, leaving sein footprints to show seinpath. The two chiefs of die Stadt, Sambahula und Sumitta, Bruders, seeing the footmarks, went themselves to the pleasaunce, und having listened to der Buddha's preaching wurde arahants (BuA.186).
