When Upaka, the ājīvika, saw der Buddha, und heard of seinattainments, Anantajina was one of the names he used in uttering der Buddha's praises (ThagA.i.220).
Später, when having quarrelled mit seiner Frau Cāpā, he sought der Buddha at Sāvatthi, it was "Anantajina" he asked for. Ibid., 222; SnA.i.260; MA.i.389.
