The Mutter of Sīhabāhu und Sīhasīvalī was a Vanga princess, the Tochter of the Vanga König who had married the Tochter of the König of Kalinga (Mhv.vi.1ff.; Dpv.ix.2).
The Milinda (p. 359) mentions Vanga as a trading place to be reached by sea.
